Review: ColourPop She Palette

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the ColourPop She Palette. For those of you unfamiliar with this palette, it is one of the products in Karrueche Tran's newest ColourPop collection called Fem Rosa. This palette is being restocked today at 10 a.m./pst (1 p.m./e.s.t.). The collection also includes lip products and a face palette. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this palette, see swatches, and a look that I created.

ColourPop She Palette
This palette contains 12 shadows that are a mix of matte, satin, and metallic finishes. There are four mattes, one satin, and seven metallic shadows. The palette is said to be primarily mauve tones. It is mostly a cool toned palette.

On to my thoughts:
These shadows are really pretty! The colors have nice pigmentation and I didn't experience any serious creasing or fall out. As always, the metallics/satins apply best with the fingers. The mattes are buildable. One negative thing is it that there is no matte brow shade. I also think that it needs another light transition shade aside from the peachy shade. The pink shade is on the dark side for a transition shade for me personally. Some of the lighter metallic shades look similar like Babe and Dainty. I was however happy with the look that I created using this palette. I did need to use a single matte shadow for my brow bone since there isn't one in this palette as mentioned before. While I think that it looks pretty on my skin tone right now, I don't know if I will like it once my skin tone is lighter. I will have to wait and see.  I think the palette will look beautiful on mid to darker skin tones. In terms of the packaging, it is absolutely gorgeous. I love the graphics on the palette. It is the same cardboard feel like the Yes, Please palette which I am fine with.

Overall, I do like this palette but prefer warmer tones such as the shadows in the Yes, Please palette. You can read my review of that palette HERE. I still think that this is a great palette and is comparable to other ColourPop shadows. I am super excited to see ColourPop's Fall line which I assume will be revealed soon. I also want to pick up some of their new No Filter Concealers once they are restocked.
