Review: PUR Cosmetics: The Complexion Authority*

 Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on some products from PUR Cosmetics. For those of you unfamiliar with PUR Cosmetics, not only are their beauty and skincare products cruelty free, a majority of them are also vegan, paraben free, and gluten free. I was sent some products to try out. Below are my thoughts on each and a look that I created using all of the products discussed.

PUR Perfect Fit Eye Shadow Tro in Jetsetter $26.00

This is a nice neutral trio. It comes with a shimmery copper/bronze shade, a shimmery champagne, and a matte espresso shade. The shadows are not super pigmented but are buildable. They blend and apply nicely and I didn't experience any serious creasing or fading throughout the day.

 PUR Chateau Kisses Lip Gloss in Glitzy $18.00

This lipgloss is supposed to be hydrating and contains Retinol and super hydrating ceramides to smooth lines and wrinkles. As you know, I don't love lip glosses. This color isn't my favorite just because I tend to gravitate more towards nudes and mauves. However, its not sticky at all and feels nice on the lips. It has nice pigmentation and includes a glitter that doens't feel gritty. The applicator is really unique and I think it makes for a super easy application. I would be interested and seeing how I like other colors that are more my style and trying out their liquid lipsticks.

PUR Volume Vixen  4-in-1 Full Volume Mascara with Keratin $21.00

This mascara is supposed to give you volume and contains Keratin. It is more of a dry formula. I do agree that it does give your lashes volume but I wouldn't say it gives a super dramatic look. I prefer a more wet formula mascara but I did think it was a decent mascara overall.

PUR Miracle Mist Hydrate & Set $19.00

The directions say you can use this mist on your face after you shower or any time you want to hydrate your face. You can also spray it on top of your makeup for extended wear. I do think this feels nice and hydrating on the face but I don't think works as well as a setting spray compared to others that I have used.

Overall, I enjoyed trying out all of these products from PUR Cosmetics. My favorite products were the Perfect Fit Eye Shadow Tro and the Chateau Kisses Lip Gloss. I would like to try the lip gloss and their liquid lipstick in a nude/brown or mauve shade. I think this brand is great for people with gluten or other skin allergies or for someone looking to try out a cruelty free and/or vegan beauty line.
