I recently purchased some more ColourPop products and wanted to share my thoughts on each. A few of the items were from Kathleen Lights new collab with ColourPop. She has created items with them in the past but has recently added some new lippies and eye liners to her collection. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on each!
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Dopey $6.00
Dopey is a dusty mauve and is also one of the most popular Ultra Satin Lips sold by ColourPop. It was sold out for so long and I finally was able to snatch it up. Its out of stock again but I'm sure it will come back soon. This color is so gorgeous. It shows up darker on my lips than the picture below. I have been wearing it all summer even though this color is probably better for the fall. I am so in love with ColourPop's Ultra Satin Lips formula and this may be one of my new favorite colors.
Alyssa is a neutral dusty pink and is one of Kathleen Lights new Ultra Satin Lips. I believe she said this lippie was named after her God Daughter Alyssa. This color is pretty but is too light for me to wear as an everyday color. It looks great on her but shows up alot lighter on me. Its more wearable on me than other light pinks that I have tried but I'm still not a huge fan of on me. As you can see in the picture above, the color kind of separated so I have to shake it up before applying it. I have noticed that happen with other colors as well.
November is a mid-tone warm peachy pink. This is also a new lippie from Kathleen's collection. She named this one November as that is the month of her and Danny's wedding anniversary. I really like this color! Its more of a darker peachy pink on me. I find this very wearable and have been using it often.
ColourPop Lippie Primer $5.00
This lip primer is supposed to enhance the wear of any of their lip products and keeps your lips feeling healthy. I honestly didn't notice a huge difference after using this product. Its not very moisturizing and didn't seem to prolong my lip color much longer than without it. I wouldn't recommend using this product as I didn't see any huge benefit from it.
Mr. Bing is a rich warm brown in a matte finish. It almost has a reddish tint to it. This is another product from Kathleen's new collection. I have ColourPop's darker brown creme gel liner in Stomper which is a cool toned brown. I like using this when I want a more natural less dramatic look when wearing on my upper lash line. This also looks really pretty on your waterline.
Over Board is a warm metallic bronze. Natalie from HashtagFabLife talked about this liner in one of her monthly favorites videos. I also always wear either nude or white on my lower lash line and decided to pick this up after hearing her rave about it. I have been wearing this on my lower lash line constantly and its so pretty! Its not as harsh as black on your water line but adds a smoldering look to your eye makeup.
Wattles is a dusty beige pink in a satin finish. I think it also has a little bit of fine glitter to it. Kathleen talked about this shadow on her channel and did a tutorial with it. I thought the color was so pretty and decided to pick it up. I have doing very simple makeup looks using it all over my lid or on the crease with a matte white/tan on the lid. This pairs very well with the Dopey Ultra Satin lip.
ColourPop changed the applicator on their Ultra Satin Lips. I believe it has been changed on their other liquid lip formulas as well. The applicator is more puffy and is supposed to help apply with the best pigmentation. I really like the new change in the applicator.

Overall, I really loved all the products that I got aside from the lip primer. Alyssa isn't my favorite color but I'm not disappointed that I picked it up because I love the formula of the Ultra Satin Lips so much. I'm sure I will wear it at some point. I am thinking that I want to try some of the new Ultra Metallic Lips but am going to wait until I have a decent sized to place an order.
