Review: Derma e Skincare*

Derma e was nice enough to send me a really generous PR package. I have been trying out all of the products for the past month and wanted to share my thoughts on each. For those of you unfamiliar with Derma e, it is vegan , cruelty free, and paraben free skin care line. It does not test on animals and does not contain any animal by products in any of their formulas. You can find Derma e at Ulta Beauty and Whole Foods. Keep reading to learn about and hear my thoughts on each product that I received!

Derma e Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask $19.50

Here is what is said about this product on the Derma e site:

I always love trying out new masks and this one does not disappoint! You only need to leave it on for 3-5 minutes which is great because I prefer masks that don't need to be left on for 20 minutes. This mask dries pretty fast but isn't itchy or uncomfortable to wear. It has gritty pieces in the mask so that when you wash it off, you are exfoliating your skin as well. My face feels super clean after washing this mask.

At first, I thought I wasn't going to like this cleanser because I prefer scrubs however I was pleasantly surprised. This cleanser doesn't foam up that much at all and feels silky. It definitely makes my face feel clean and would be great for people that want a cleanser without any micro beads. Its gentle on the skin and your face doesn't feel tight after using it.

Derma e Firming DMAE Eye Life $24.99

I normally prefer gel eye creams over heavier creams however this one is really nice. It comes in an easy squeeze tube so that you don't use too much. The product feels nice and light on the delicate eye area and doesn't feel too heavy or greasy. I haven't using it for long enough to notice it changing around my eye area but I also do have any serious wrinkles or crows feet to be able to comment on that aspect.

This is a nice serum. Its not too greasy or heavy. I like that it contains green tea and other ingredients that are beneficial to your skin. I didn't see a huge difference in my skin but I do like that it is supposed to protect your skin from environment.

Derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub $29.99

I first found out about Derma e from this microdermabrastion scrub that I got in one of my Ipsy Glam Bags. It is very similar to other more expensive microdermabrasion scrubs but half the price. I love them lemon scent and how clean my face feels after using it. The scrub is a little abrasive so it might not be best for people with sensitive skin. This is one of my favorite scrubs!


Derma e Makeup Remover $12.75

I normally only use makeup wipes because they are just easier in my opinion but I decided to give this a try anyways. I really don't like oily makeup removers but this was different. It didn't burn or sting at all and was more of a gel than a liquid. It took off my makeup with easy but I did need a decent amount to take all of  my makeup off.

Derma e Overnight Peel $18.75

This feels just like a lotion/moisturizer. It didn't burn or tingle. I didn't use this long enough to say if it really evens pigmentation and I don't have age spots but my skin did seem to have a radiant glow the next morning after using this.
