Review: Tarte Greatest Glitz Collector's Set

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Tarte Greatest Glitz Collector's Set. I recieved this set for Christmas and am just getting around to reviewing it. This set was $49.00 and was exclusive to Ulta but it is no longer available. Just a heads up...this is a very picture heavy post. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on this set and to see some looks that I created!

Overall, I thought this palette was ok but not great. The colors were pretty but they weren't as brilliant and pigment as I hoped that would be. Also, the pink and yellow palette had very similar colors. I liked that the palettes were portable and not stuck in the box like Tarte's Sephora holiday set. This is my second Tarte holiday palette and I wasn't overly impressed with either of them. I think I will pass on next years palette. People rave about the Tartlette palettes which makes me wonder if their holiday sets just aren't the same quality. Either way, this palette is nice and it is possible to create soft neutral looks with it.

Which of the three color palettes is your favorite? Post your comments below!
