OODT: Marketplace Glam

Hey Guys,
I'm back ot share another outfit from my video shoot with Ash & Rose. You can learn more about the boutique and the video shoot HERE and watch the video HERE. This next outfit was the most glam of the three. I wasn't given many pictures to use on my blog from this video shoot. I had to crop close ups off the i handful of images that were given to me. So I apologize for some of the blurry pics below. I tried to give you guys a closer look of the accessories. This backdrop was also filmed in the Boston Public Market. I loved this area. It had a bunch of fresh flowers, handmade soaps, and other goods. I love the rustic back drop and the dress just fits in so well with all the beautiful colors.

Necklace: Kalinda Necklace
Bracelet: Infinity Bracelet

This dress was really comfortable and a stretchy material. The back of the dress isn't shown in the pics but it has scoop back that I really liked. The beaded statement necklace was so beautiful and intricate. I can't find it on their site anymore but it was so pretty in person. These pictures do not do it justice. The hammered braceled was really cool too. My shoes weren't the most comfortable but they looked great with the outfit and thats all that matters right?

Boston Winter presented by Berkshire Bank
Hey Guys,

I had the opportunity to check it out this past weekend and wanted to share my experience with you! It was below 30 degrees Saturday night however, that didn't stop the crowd. The place was packed! I tried my best to get some good pictures but many were affected by all of the lights and people walking around. Keep reading to hear about my this event!
Boston Winter presented by Berkshire Bank
Boston Winter is free to visit however there are exhibits/attractions that require tickets to be purchased. November Favorites

Hey Guys,
I can't believe how quick November has come and gone! My holiday shopping is almost done and I have to start wrapping! That is my least favorite part of Christmas shopping. I am super excited to celebrate Christmas with my family; especially my nephews who are 6 and 2 years old. My youngest nephew is just beginning to understand "Santa" and that we will be bringing gifts to him if hes a good boy. He just got Elf on the Shelf but doesn't quite understand that yet haha. I have time off after Christmas and am looking forward to some relaxation. Anyways..back to my November favorites...

Check out the video below to see what I was loving last month!

LuLaRoe Haul & GIVEAWAY!!!

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my LuLaRoe haul as well as discuss the details on a GIVEAWAY! For those of you unfamiliar with LuLaRoe, it is a clothing line that is sold directly from consultant to consumer. You can host pop-up parties online or in person and earn rewards or shop their LuLaRoe Facebook groups when they post weekly sales. I recently went to a pop-up event at a restaurant that a local consultant named Kristen Dunmead held. She suggested I bring a bunch of friends to the pop-up and that she would consider it a party so that I could get the hostess rewards. LuLaRoe clothing comes in a variety of styles from leggings to tops, dresses, skirts, and cardigans. I love that all of the items are available to women of all shapes and sizes. They have both O/S (one size) leggings (size 2-12) and T/C  (tall and curvy) leggings (size 12-22). All of their tops and dresses also come in xxs to 3x. The fun part of LuLaRoe is that when the consultants place an order, they have no idea what prints they will get. Each print is only made into 5,000 items. Therefore, if you see something you like, don't wait to get it or you may not see it available again!

Check out my video below to see the items I picked up!

Today I am going to feature another brand in my Holiday Gift Guide. The company is REKS Optics and they are a unique sunglasses company. REKS sunglasses are not only stylish and affordable but they are also UNBREAKABLE. You can bend or drop these glasses an not have to worry about them being damage. All of their sunglasses are shatter resistant, light weight, and offer 100% UV protection. Their glasses were designed for recreation and allow you to wear them without the worry about being too rough with them. Another cool thing about REKS sunglasses is that you are able to customize them to your liking. Their lenses come in 18 different configurations featuring different covering colors, mirrors, polarized, and photochromic styles. REKS sunglasses also come in  many different frame styles. Most people wear sunglasses no matter what the season whether it be for fashion or function. These sunglasses are a great gift for any man or woman during the holidays. Hey Guys,
So I recently shared a post on a local boutique in Boston called Ash & Rose. I did a video shoot with them and wanted to share more details on the outfits from the video. You can check my post on the boutique and see my "As Seen On" video HERE. This part of the video was filmed in Boston Public Market which is a new indoor market place in Boston. Visitors can shop and eat fresh from local food entrepreneurs. They can also purchase other hand crafted goods as well. Everything sold in this market place is produced or originates from New England. Keep reading to learn more about my outfit in the pictures below! Review: BoxyCharm Oct. & Nov. 2016

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on the October and November BoxyCharm boxes. I decided that I am going to cancel Ipsy because it just doesn't excite me enough to keep getting it. I signed up for BoxyCharm because it seems like you get way more bang for your buck. For those of you unfamilair with BoxyCharm, its another monthly beauty subscription like Ipsy. The difference is that you receive 5 FULL SIZED products each month instead of samples. The subscription is $21.00 a monthly and like Ipsy, they have featured products each month that everyone gets, and then other items that are varied from customer to customers. Check out my video below to see what I got in my first two boxes. Keep reading to see my thoughts on each product!

Holiday Gift Guide: 88 Handbags*

Hey Guys,
This year I am going to do something a little different for my holiday gift guide. Instead of focusing on beauty I am going to focus on fashion. Also, Instead of listing a bunch of different products, I am going to feature some new brands/companies that may not be as known to my readers. Today I am going to talk about the brand 88 Handbags. I did a post about 88's Natalie Block Tote back in the summer which you can check out HERE. 88 Handbags is company that sells vegan handbags and offers them in a large assortment of different styles, colors, and shapes. They also offer extended straps on some of their bags for plus size women. 88 offers affordable and reasonable prices on their high quality handbags.  They also donate a % of each sale to a charity called Care International that assists in education women around the world. 88 Handbags would be a great holiday gift for any woman. Ash & Rose Boutique

Ash & Rose

Hey Guys,
Today I wanted to share more info with you on a unique local boutique located in the SoWa neighborhood of Boston's South End. For those of you hearing of Ash & Rose for the first time, I recently uploaded a Fashion Haul where I talked a little bit about them and about a project I was working on with them. You can check out that video HERE. Just to give you a background on the company, Ash & Rose is owned and operated by a mother-daughter duo Nea and Mary Savoca. Nea is also the designer of their A&R private label collection. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary and learning a little bit about the company. They started of as an online store then opened up in their current location about a year or so ago. All of the items in the store are ethically made. Many items are either made in the U.S.A., eco-friendly, or vegan. I found these things really unique and also really great! Below I wanted to share some pictures I took of the shop. Keep scrolling to check out this adorable boutique and all that it has to offer!

Review: Wantable Accessories Collection October 2016

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going  to share my Wantable Accessories Collection for October. Even though I don't really NEED anymore jewelry or accessories, I wanted a few long plain gold necklaces that would match with a bunch of different outfits. I decided to get the October collection and note that I was looking for long gold necklaces. I also told them that really small stud earrings don't look great on me and to avoid sending any of those.
For those of you unfamiliar with Wantable, it is a personal styling service that you can sign up for monthly (or whenever you would like). It is $40 for your first box and $36.00 every month after that. You get 4-5 products that are tailored to your beauty profile that you fill out when signing up. If you are not happy with your collection, you can send the whole box back and get a refund. They have 3 different type collections; an Accessories Collection, a Makeup Collection, and an Intimates Collection. They recently just added two more subscriptions that are a little different. The Style Edit and the Fitness Edit. These boxes are a little bit more pricey. You pay a $20 styling fee and they send you 5 hand picked items that you can choose to purchase or send back.

3 YEAR BLOGIVERSARY GIVEAWAY!!!

Hey Guys,
My 3 Year Blogiversary was back in September. I wanted to do a giveaway but never got around to buying the prizes until now. I just wanted to thank all my readers for supporting my blog and YouTube channel over the past 3 years. I have had the opportunity to discover some really great products and brands. I've also learned that there are some amazing drugstore products out there! Most importantly, I have met some really great people along the way. Some of which are some of my closest friends! Aside from learning more about the beauty and fashion industry, I have learned that blogging and vlogging is hard work! It takes a ton of dedication and times I can get discouraged. I don't have the biggest following but I appreciate every person that takes the time to read my blog and hear what I have to say. So once again, THANK YOU! and I will continue to share with you my passion for all things beauty and fashion!

Introducing Stitch Fix Men!

Hey Guys,
Today I am here to share some exciting news! Stitch Fix has launched Stitch Fix Men! It's the same great subscription service but now they cater to that special man in your life too! For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service.
Introducing Stitch Fix Men!

So this is how it works: You sign up and fill out this very detailed fashion profile. Once you fill out the profile you can decide when you want to get your first fix. In the fix they will send you 5 items consisting of clothing items and/or accessories. You decide the types of items you want them to send you. Your are able to add special notes to your fix as well such as "please send me all shirts this month". You can schedule the fixes monthly, seasonally, or whenever you feel like it. You get to choose the date you want to receive your fix. If you decide to cancel the monthly fixes at any time you will not be charged.

Once you schedule your fix, they ship out your items on that date and you will be charged a $20.00 styling fee. If you don't keep the items you do still have to pay the $20.00 styling fee. However, if you keep even one item, the $20.00 fee gets subtracted from the cost of the item. If you decided to keep all 5 items, not only does the $20.00 get subtracted but you get 25% off your entire order! How cool is that?

Another cool thing about Stitch Fix is with each item they send, they also send a picture card that shows how to style items you already have with this specific item.

If you refer friends and they decide to try out Stitch Fix, you get a $25.00 credit once their first fix gets sent out. Who doesn't love free money?

Introducing Stitch Fix Men!

I think it is so great that they now offer this subscription for men. Some men hate to shop while others are just too busy to take the time to do so. It's a great gift idea and with the holidays right around the corner  and I think that you should all keep this in mind!

Review: Ipsy Glam Bag Sept 2016

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share my thoughts on the Ipsy Glam Bag for September. The theme this month is Glamazon. I'm really not sure how often they look at our past product reviews before picking our current items for the month because I said I didn't want or like nail polish in my review last month, and I got it again this month. That is kind of annoying to me. Other than that, I was looking forward to checking out what I got this month.

For those of you unfamiliar with  Ipsy, it is a monthly beauty subscription service. For $10.00 a month, you get 4-5 deluxe to full size beauty products. To learn more you can check out my previous Ipsy reviews on my Subscription Reviews tab at the top of my blog.

Dupe Alert: Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Chihuahua vs Maybelline Color Jolt in Stripped Down

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share a quick comparison of two lip products. As many of you know, the Maybelline Color Jolt Intense Lip Paints are said to be very similar in pigmentation and consistency to the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks. I definitely agree with those claims. I also think I have a possible color dupe between two shades. In my opinion, I think that the Maybelline Color Jolt in Stripped Down is a dupe for the Too Faced Melted  Lipstick in Melted Chihuahua. Below is the info for each. Check out the swatches below to see for yourself!

Fashion Haul: Express, Fashion Nova, VS PINK, and Ash & Rose

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share another fashion haul. This time around I used some Express gift cards and coupons that I got for my birthday that I have been saving. That is where a majority of the items are from in this haul. I also have a few items from Fashion Nova, VS PINK, and Ash & Rose. Just because I feel that after editing my video I have to put it out there... I normally wear high waisted jeans with crop tops. In the try-on clips, I have on low rise jeans which is not normally what I would wear with those crop tops. I wish I would have put high rise jeans on but I wasn't thinking at the time. Anyways...check out my video below to see what I picked up!
