Review: Proganix Anti-Fade Line*

Hey Guys,
Today I am going to share with you another hair care product line by Proganix. They sent me a bunch of products to try out and some extra little goodies. The product line is their Anti Fade line for color treated hair. I recently reviewed their Quench line which you can check out HERE.

Here are the goodies that I received:
Proganix Anti-Fade Line

Some Kitsch hair accessories...
Proganix Anti-Fade Line
These are super cute in your hair and on your wrist. They don't hurt or get stuck in your hair.
Proganix Anti-Fade Line
This is the first bun accessory I have seen. It is a cute idea. I will try it out and see if it looks good on me. It might look cute on younger girls.

Proganix Anti-Fade Weightless Argan Oil $11.99
Proganix Anti-Fade Line
Here is what is said about this product on the Proganix site:
"Proganix Anti-Fade Cherry Blossom + Vitamin B5 Weightless Argan Oil is a blend of color protecting argan oil, antioxidant rich cherry blossom extract, UV filters, for color that has a rich, deep glow. Argan Oil, Anti-oxidant, UVA & UVB protection, not tested on animals."

I thought that this was a nice product. You want to be careful not to use too much or you will make your hair greasy. Just mist a small amount about 5-6 inches away from your head to help tame fly aways and to protect your hair from the sun.

Proganix Anti-Fade Shampoo & Conditioner $9.99
Proganix Anti-Fade Line
Here is what is said about this product on the Ulta site:
"Proganix Anti-Fade Cherry Blossom + Vitamin B5 Shampoo and Conditioner is a color protecting blend of sulfate-free surfactants, antioxidant rich cherry blossom extract combined with UV filters, perfected in the salon, for reds that stay vibrant, blondes that shimmer and brunettes that stay brilliant giving your hair you'll always love.Sulfate-free surfactants, anti-oxidant, UVA & UVB protection, Anti-Fade, not tested on animals."

I really like that this product line protects color treated hair and helps keep it from fading. I also love that it is sulfate free. The scent smells nice but I prefer the coconut scent of the Quench line. If you are a fan of cherry blossoms and floral scents, you will like the smell of this line. After using the shampoo and conditioner my hair felt clean and soft. My hair seems to be keeping its color pretty well but I also use other products to help keep my hair vibrant. Overall, I like this product line.

*I was sent these  products as a gift.  However, the thoughts and opinions in this post are my own. I am always 100% honest in my reviews for all products discussed on my blog.

Review: Play! By Sephora Oct 2015

Hey Guys,
Today I'm going to share my thoughts on my October Play! By Sephora box! This is the second box that I have recieved from this new subscription. The theme of October's box is "Secrets to Dewy Skin".  I would have thought there would be makeup items in this box to help create a dewy look but they are all skincare items. My parents have been staying with me until they move into their new house so my house has been pretty full to say the least. I haven't been able to film as they are staying in my filming room. I won't be doing an unboxing video this month, just this post.

Below are the samples that I recieved and the full sized prices:

Play! By Sephora Oct 2015

I'm really excited to try this mask. I hear great things about these Sephora masks. This one is supposed to brighten your skin and hydrate it at the same time. It is formulated with white pearl to give your kin a luminous glow.

Belief The True Cream Aqua Bomb $38.00
Play! By Sephora Oct 2015
I have never heard of this brand but have been looking for a new moisturizer. This brand comes from South Korea however many of the products contain extracts come from Scottish botanticals. This is a lightweight gel cream that helps hydrate your skin and keep it looking plump. You can also apply a thick layer and use it has a hydrating mask. I have used this moisturizer a few times now and I love it. I might end up buying a full size of this.

Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser $28.00

Play! By Sephora Oct 2015

Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal $15.00

Play! By Sephora Oct 2015
I haven't tried anything by Boscia though I have heard of the brand. This black cleanser and charcoal sponge help clarify, exfoliate, and draw out impurities from the skin. I'm really excited to use this two products. I've been wanting to try the konjac type sponges for a while. Apparently, these konjac sponges have been used for over 1,500 years in Asia as a beauty staple. This was a fun fact I learned from the Sephora Play booklet.

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Day Tint SPF 15 $48.00

Play! By Sephora Oct 2015
Once again, I have heard of Dr. Jart but haven't tried any products. This is a tinted sunscreen to protect again UV rays. I'm not too excited about this as its product. Tinted sunscreens really aren't something I use. This is also really expensive.

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Instant Infusion Treatment Toner $48.00

Play! By Sephora Oct 2015
I really enjoy Fresh lip products so I am looking forward to trying this toner. This is supposed to add a glow to your skin while refining the appearance of pores, moisturizing, and protection your skin from the environment.

Play! By Sephora Oct 2015
Fragrances don't really excite me unless they are one that I actually want. This one smells like oranges and is a unisex fragrance. I think this is more suiting for a man. This cologne is made with fresh citrus, ginger, and vetiver.

Overall, I look forward to trying out all of the products in this box. I do wish that they had atleast one makeup item in this box. I can think of many makeup items that they could have featured to help create a "dewy" look. Other than that, I think this box is definitely a good value.

Review: Stitch Fix #13

Hey Guys,
Last month I wasn't thrilled with my fix. I decided to send all the pieces back. My stylist Jenni agreed to send me another fix with better pieces that I could transition into the fall with. For those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page

Below is what I recieved in my 13th fix.
Stitch Fix #13
$48.00
Stitch Fix #13
Stitch Fix #13
When I first saw this shirt I wasn't crazy about it. Once I tried it on, I actually really liked it. I thoght the split in the back was really cool. The only problem was it was a little bit tight on me. For that reason, I decided to pass on it.

Stitch Fix #13
 $38.00

Stitch Fix #13
 $48.00
Stitch Fix #13
I liked the color of the shirt but I  didn't think it was worth the price. I liked the colors in the scarf but would wear this with a winter jacket, not as an accessory. I thought that it was too thick to wear that way. I also thought it was too expensive. I passed on both pieces.

Stitch Fix #13
$48.00
Stitch Fix #13
Seeing that I love plaid and tab sleeve blouses, I knew that I was going to love this shirt. It was really soft and comfortable. I decided to keep this.

Stitch Fix #13
$48.00
Stitch Fix #13
This was a great layering piece. I would have liked another color but this will definitely match alot of things. I decided to keep this.

Overall, I was alot happier with this fix. I think Jenni did a good job at sending me transitional fall pieces. I was really happy with the pieces that I kept.

Review: Wantable Accessories Collection Sept 2015

Hey Guys,
Today I wanted to share my Wantable Accessories Collection for September! I get so excited for this subscription each month. I absolutely love costume jewelry. I feel like you can dress up a look easily with something as simple as a pair of earrings or a necklace. It completes and outfit and makes you stand out in a crowd.

For those of you unfamiliar with Wantable, it is a personal styling service that you can sign up for monthly (or whenever you would like). It is $40 for your first box and $36.00 every month after that. You get 4-5 products that are tailored to your beauty profile that you fill out when signing up. If you are not happy with your collection, you can send the whole box back and get a refund. They have 3 different type collections; an Accessories Collection, a Makeup Collection, and an Intimates Collection. They recently just added two more subscriptions that are a little different. The Style Edit and the Fitness Edit. These boxes are a little bit more pricey. You pay a $20 styling fee and they send you 5 hand picked items that you can choose to purchase or send back.

Here is what I got in my September Accessories Collection:
Wantable Accessories Collection Sept 2015

Brooklyn Studs Silver Retail: $12.00 My Price: $6.67
Wantable Accessories Collection Sept 2015
I thought these were cute. These weren't anything special to me but they are simple enough for me to wear with a silver statement necklace.

Lillian Drop Earrings  Retail: $18.00 My Price: $10.00
Wantable Accessories Collection Sept 2015
I really liked these earrings. I thought that they were stunning on. I don't own anything like them so I was happy to see them in my collection.

Joanne Necklace Retail: $16.00 My Price: $8.89
Wantable Accessories Collection Sept 2015
At first, I wasn't super excited about this but after wearing it, I really like it. It is simple enough to not overpower an outfit but adds a little fun and edge to a look.

Issa Necklace Multi Retail: $26.00 My Price: $14.44
Wantable Accessories Collection Sept 2015
I really liked this necklace but the metal shapes kept flipping which was pretty annoying. I like that this has both silver and gold in it so that I can wear it with many colors.

Overall, this wasn't my favorite box. However, after wearing a few of these pieces, I was happy with what was sent to me.

Overall, I was pretty happy with my first Play! By Sephora box. I really like that we are getting high end products to try out that are from brands that I am actually familiar with. I also like that everyone gets the same items. That way, I don't get bummed when I see someone else get something that I would have rather had. I am really excited to see what I get in next months box.
