I'm here to share some products from a natural and organic skincare company called Herbal Transdermal. The company focuses on using natural ingredients and feeding the body with high quality herbs and oils. They stay away from ingredients that contain toxins and chemicals which you would not want to be put in your body. Herbal Transdermal products range from masks, toners, and soaps to serums and lotions. All of their products are made in the USA and they do not test on animals!
Here is what is said about this product on the company site:
"Resveratrol is a natural occurring phenol with tremendous anti oxidation compounds, 50 times more powerful than topical vitamin C. Resveratrol stimulates collagen synthesis, tightens skin, smooths fine lines, increases elasticity and stimulates cell reproduction. Herbal Transdermal Anti Aging lotion is one of the first skin care products to utilize this natural powerful compound in a topical formula. Grapeseed oil is a superb anti oxidant with natural anti inflammatory properties and is wonderful for skin tissue regeneration. It is also a fantastic astringent which is one of the most important ingredients contained in grapeseed oil. Grapeseed oil stimulates tissues to contract thus helping to maintain healthy collagen and elastin."
All of our natural lotions have pure 24 ct. Gold in them except Baby's First and Fast Asleep. We have gold in for a reason, it is truly a miracle element for skin. Not only does it improve collagen growth, but gold also has superior anti inflammatory properties which help to reduce the breakdown of elastin. Skin cells, and more importantly the electrons that are found in skin cells are highly sensitive to the electric charges generated by gold. Gold is a wonderful remedy for tissues that have lost their elasticity. Topical gold also slows melanin secretions which can cause skin discoloration. For thousands of years gold has been prized for its ability to create luminous, radiant, healthy looking skin. Herbal Transdermal uses only pure 24 ct. Gold….the highest quality available."http://www.herbaltransdermal.com/product/anti-aging-lotion/
Onto my thoughts on this product:
This lotion has a strong citrus scent to it. Its not heavy or greasy and soaks right up into the skin. I haven't been using it long enough to comment on its anti aging benefits but it does feel nice on the skin. This lotion can be used both on your face and on your body. I have used it for both and I think I like it better as a body lotion than as a face lotion. The only reason for this is that I prefer a citrus scent in a body lotion rather than for my face.
Cell Re-Mineralizing Mud Mask with Pure 24 Ct Gold and Citrus Bioflavonoids $32.00
Here is what is said about this product on the company website:
"Nothing works better at absorbing impurities and toxins from the skin than a mud mask. Our all natural, gold infused, re-mineralizing mud mask is formulated to detoxify, cleanse and re-mineralize your body. Our 'mud' has a few very unique properties that set it apart:
First it has a large and varied mineral content ( approximately 150 trace minerals) that your body absorbs transdermally during the drying process. Secondly, our volcanic mud has a negative electrical attraction which pulls and absorbs positively-charged particles from your body. Most everything that attacks our bodies including bacteria, viruses, fungi, diseases, toxic chemicals, pollutants etc… is of a positive ionic charge. Our ultra pure mud particles are extremely small which allows them to penetrate the skin and grab onto harmful positively charged particles.
Citrus bioflavonoids help to increase blood flow to the skin. This is due to the powerful anti-inflammatory effects of the phytonutrients within bioflavonoids. Bioflavonoids also have the ability to neutralize reactive oxygen thus stabilizing the molecule and breaking the oxidative chain, this can result in visible signs of healthy, more vibrant skin.
Gold is truly a miracle element for skin. Not only does it improve collagen growth, but gold also has superior anti inflammatory properties which help to reduce the breakdown of elastin. Skin cells, and more importantly the electrons that are found in skin cells are highly sensitive to the electric charges generated by gold. For thousands of years gold has been prized for its ability to create luminous, radiant, healthy looking skin. Herbal Transdermal uses only pure 24 ct. Gold….the highest quality available.
Finally, our formulation is colloidial which means the full spectrum minerals are instantly absorbed into your skin. Your skin will feel clean, pure and tight, refreshed and invigorated like never before."
I really enjoyed this mask! It is one of the most "natural" mud masks that I have tried. It literally looks like clay and has an herbal/minty smell to it. The mask spread evenly on my face and had a little tingle feeling at first. This is the impurities being pulled to the surface of your skin. It then has a nice cooling feeling afterwards. The mask dried in about 5-10 minutes and itched a little as it dried. As you can see in the pictures below, the mask dried to a light green/gray color. I had a bit of a hard time washing the product off but it might have worked better if I used a face cloth. My face felt really soft and clean after using this mask.
Here are pictures of the mud mask:
As you can see, the mask has dried completely in some areas.
