Review: ColourPop x Shaaanxo Collab

Hey Guys,
When my husband bought me all the ColourPop stuff for Christmas, ColourPop was giving away giftcards for spending certain amounts of money. He got a $15.00 gift card however it expired on 1/31/15. I couldn't let that free money go to waste so I had to pick up more ColourPop stuff! Recently, ColourPop launched their collab that they did with YouTube Guru Shaaanxo. They also started shipping to New Zeland and Australia. I decided to pick up the foursome because it was all warm/neutrals. Two shadows are a matte finish and two are a pearlized finish. I was happy about this because I haven't been loving the super glittery (metallic) finishes. Keep reading to see what I think about this foursome!

Red Carpet: 2015 Oscars

Hey Guys,
Below are my favorite red carpet looks from the 2015 Oscars! There were a lot of beautiful looks but these were the ones that stood out to me the most.

Giuliana Rancic in Mireille Dagher

Red isn't my favorite color but I thought Giuliana looked stunning in it. I thought this was a unique looking dress. I like the lace embellishments and they are positioned throughout the dress.

Zoe Saldana in Atelier Versace

I love this color! Its so soft and romantic. The gathers and pleats of this dress are very flattering. It is a simple yet elegant dress.

Chrissy Teigen in Zuhar Murad

Chrissy looks like a bombshell in this dress. The slit and sheer top is risque but she definitely pulls them off! I love the silver belt that brings the outfit together.

Jennifer Lopez in Elie Saab

I don't think I've ever seen JLo in anything that I have disliked. This ball gown is a bit different than her usual red carpet getup however, the plunging neckline gives a sexy edge to the dress.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum in Zuhair Murad

This is such a classy and timeless dress. I love the belted waist and the beading cascading throughout the dress. I'm not a huge fan of white dresses in general but this look is stunning. I love the earrings that she chose to wear with this and the simple tied back hairdo. This look was my favorite of the night!

Review: Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip Kit

Hi Guys,
The Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip kit was one of the top things on my Christmas List. I haven't tried THAT many different lip brands that are sold at Sephora. I thought that this kit was a great way to figure out which products and finishes that I did and didn't like. I have been trying these products out for quite some time now and am ready to share this review. Some people may have different opinions as me which is completely fine. Some products might work for me but not for other people and vice versa. Keep reading to hear my thoughts on each!

Haul: Jane.com

Daily Boutique Deals

Hi Guys!
Today I want to share with you an awesome site that I recently stumbled across. You can get tons of cute clothing, accessories, jewelry, and more for great prices! The site is called Jane.com! Each day Jane sends out an email with the newest deals. They are only available for a limited time or until stock runs out, so don't wait to purchase! Jane carries everything from women's fashion and accessories to home decor and stuff for kids. There is something for everyone! You do have to pay separate shipping for each item that you buy since they are from all different vendors. But shipping is usually only a few dollars. Returns are done directly with the vendor. However, Jane makes it super easy by providing the vendor email address with your order. They are always willing to help you with the return if needed. I have purchased a bunch of stuff over the holidays for my sister and myself. Keep reading to see the stuff that I picked up!

White Plum Jeggings $14.99 (plus $3.99 shipping)

These are super soft and comfy! They are made out of a fabric not jean. I love how they have back pockets to make them look more like jeans.

Funky Monkey Fashion Accessories Layered Necklace $6.99 (plus $2.99 shipping)

I love these necklaces! They are so inexpensive but look really nice and fashionable. They look really cute with v neck or low cut shirts. The necklaces also look cute with a fancy dress or button up shirt.

Savvy Chevy Women's Pajama Set $19.99 (plus $4.99 shipping)
Savvy Chevy Women's Pajama Set
I wanted a cute pair of pajamas to wear Christmas morning. I loved the snowflake print and the fact that the waistband was a thick elastic band. These pajamas were light weight, super soft, and very comfortable.

Here are the items that I picked up as gifts:

Candy Couture Shop Tiny Capital Letter Initial Necklaces $14.99 (plus $3.50 shipping)
Candy Couture Shop Tiny Capital Letter Initial Necklaces
I thought that these custom necklaces were SO CUTE! You can pick the letters, symbol, and metal finish that you want. I bought this as one Christmas gift for my sister. I picked an L and C (her boyfriend and new baby boy) in silver and then chose the little rose gold heart to go in between the letters. She loved it!

Simply Reese Kate Necklace $7.99 (plus $2.99 shipping)
Simply Reese Kate Necklace
They have tons of cute statement necklaces. I chose this one in pink.

Polka Dotsy Chevron Infinity Scarf $3.99 (plus $2.89 shipping)
Polka Dotsy Chevron Infinity Scarf
They also have so many scarves to choose from and at super cheap prices. I love the chevron printed infinity one in gray.

Overall, I really love this site. I love the variety of items it offers and the great prices. I would suggest to carefully pick sizing of clothing items and double checking with the sellers if you aren't sure which size that you are. Other than that, the items arrive in a reasonable amount of time and are true to their pictures.

Tutorial: Valentine's Day Makeup

Hey Guys,
I was going to film my first makeup tutorial for in honor of Valentine's Day but things didn't go as planned. I still got to do the makeup look so I wanted to share the look that I created and the products that I used. Instead of doing a look with different shades of pink I chose to use taupes and plum. For the eyeshadows I used the Anastasia Amrezy palette, Motives Eyeshadow in Bedroom Eyes, and ColourPop shadow in I Heart This. Keep reading to see how I created this look!

Products used to create this look:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Palette: Legend (top row first color), Vanilla (bottom row first color), Caramel (bottom row second color), and Deep Plum (bottom row fourth color)

Red Carpet Favorites: 2015 Grammys

Hey Guys,
Did you watch the Grammys? I admit that I don't normally watch award shows but I always check out the red carpet looks! I was actually pretty disappointed in them this year. I just don't get why everyone tries to upstage each other with the most ridiculous looks. Some of the outfits looked like Halloween costumes. Like Sia and her hair? Like what? lol Anyways, below are my favorite looks for the night.
Miley Cyrus in Alexandre Vauthier
Photo Credit:Larry Busacca/Getty Images for NARAS
Miley hasn't been my favorite person the past few years but I must admit that she looked really stunning. The dress is revealing but not over the top like some of her other recent looks. I like her hair style with this look as well.
Beyonce in Pronza Schouler
It it not a shock that Beyonce is one of the best looks of the night. She always looks on point at award shows. I love the black lace on the dress and the banded waist. She does a great job at wearing dresses that accentuate her curves in all the right ways.
Taylor Swift in Elie Saab
Photo Credit: Larry Busacca/Getty Images for NARAS
This is a very interesting dress. Its not my favorite of the night but I did love the color. The dress looks almost cape like. Those shoes are definitely a miss though. I think she should have worn something more subtle like a strappy silver heel.
Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell
Photo Credit: Larry Busacca/Getty Images for NARAS
This is another dress that I didn't LOVE but I did think Lady Gaga looked very beautiful. She is one of the people that usually show up to award shows looking like shes dressed up for Halloween. I think that if the dress was a little less revealing she would have looked even better. But none the less, I thought she deserved recognition for her efforts.
Ne-Yo in Marc Jacobs
Photo Credit: Larry Busacca/Getty Images for NARAS
I had to throw one best dressed male into the mix! I loved Ne-Yo's get up! He looked pretty sharp. He actually was dressed better than many of his female counterparts. I love the color and texture of his suit. The hat, glasses, and Fleur De Lis brooch tied the whole look together.
Jessie J in Ralph and Russo

Jessie J definitely pulls off this beaded sheer gown. She has the perfect mix of goth/vamp and glam! The more I see this image, the more this look grows on me.
Gwen Stefani in Versace
Photo Credit: Larry Busacca/Getty Images for NARAS
I  am not a fan of pant suits on women in general but Gwen is the exception. This look is edgy/rocker chick but sexy at the same time.
Kylie Jenner in Jean Paul Gaultier

Last but not least is my favorite look of the night. Kylie Jenner looked absolutely stunning in this Jean Paul Gaultier dress. The silver design paired with the sheer background is just gorgeous.  Even though this does show a lot of skin, I think it is done in a very tasteful way. Kylie is definitely stepping out of her older sisters' shadows and coming into the spotlight.

Makeup Purge #3

Hi Guys,
After the holidays I decided I needed to get rid of even MORE makeup.  I got some new stuff for Christmas and just don't have room for all of it. I also have a bunch of stuff I don't ever use. I'd rather pass it on to someone that will use it. Because my purge is so big, I am not going to list everything that I got rid of by name and shade. I will list the brands and products though. Keep reading to check it out!

Review: Morphe 18 Piece Vegan Brush Set

Hey Guys!
I have wanted a new brush set for quite some time. One of the brands that really stuck out to me was Morphe Brushes. They are affordable and I have read great things about their quality. Jaclyn Hill has talked alot about their brushes recently and now has her own favorites palette with them. I decided to check out their brush set offerings and pick one to put on my Christmas list. After going through all of the sets, I chose the 18 Piece Vegan Brush set. It included a wide range of brushes, was a reasonable price, and was vegan which was the best part! Luck for me, my lovely sister in law picked this up for me as a Christmas gift! I was so excited and couldn't wait to get home and try the brushes out.

Morphe 18 Piece Vegan Brush Set
These brushes come in a patent leather brush case that snaps shut. It also has flap that covers the brushes. I have it folded behind the case so that you can see all the brushes.

January Favorites

Hey Guys,
Time for another monthly favorites post! I'm not too sad that January is over since I am SO READY for the Spring! However, I had a couple exciting things happen this month. I became an auntie again! My brother in law and his girlfriend had a baby boy. This is the first baby in my husband's immediate family so his parents are overjoyed. El and I also booked our trip to NY for IMATS in April! We are so excited. Lastly, I got a Canon Rebel T5 camera and am going to try to step up my game with my YouTube videos. I just got it a few days ago and am already having a hard time with it! I have filmed my January Favorites twice and both times, the products are crystal clear but me and the background are blurry! That being said, I know its all a learning curve and hopefully I get the hang of this thing!
