I'm here to share with you my last Ipsy Glam Bag of the year! I can't believe that December is more than half over! This month has been crazy for me! Running around doing Christmas shopping, decorating, and going to holiday parties. Even though it is hectic, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Let's talk about Ipsy..For those of you unfamiliar with Ipsy, it is a monthly beauty subscription service. For $10.00 a month, you get 4-5 deluxe to full size beauty products. To learn more you can check out my previous Ipsy reviews on my Subscription Reviews tab at the top of my blog. The theme of this month's bag is "Fearless Heroine". I wasn't really wowed by anything in my glam room this month. It was kind of disappointing because last December I got my first glam bag and I was really impressed! This month...not so much.
Let's move on to what I recieved:Nyx Butter Lip Balm in Parfait
This is a full size product that retails for $4.00. I can't say that any lip balm excites me. It does have a nice scent and subtle color. It is moisturizing and does what it is supposed to. It will definitely get used.
Nourish Organic Renewing Eye Cream
This is a deluxe sample of a Nourish Organic eye cream that contains avocado and argan. I couldn't find the full size product on their site so I'm not sure of the cost of it. I don't love getting skin care products (besides masks) because I am very particular about what I am willing to try and use. This eye cream is O.K. but I prefer the ones that I already have.
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara
Once again, not a fan of getting mascaras in my bag. I would rather pick them out myself and I already have a ton at home that I haven't even tried yet. I know a lot of people like this mascara but its just meh for me. I don't hate it but I don't love it. It separates my lashes but doesn't give me enough volume. The full size product retails for $20.00 and this sample has a value of about $8.33.
Cailyn Cosmetics Just Mineral Eye Polish in Orchid
I think this is the third Cailyn product that I have recieved in my glam bag. I haven't been wowed by anything that I have tried. I am not a fan of loose powder eyeshadows but this color is really pretty! It has nice pigmentation and I didn't notice any major creasing when wearing it. I liked it. This is a full size product and retails for $15.00.
Bumble and Bumble Repair Blow Dry
This is a deluxe sized hair product that has a value of $3.50. The full sized product costs $14.00. I hear great things about this brand so I am interested in trying this out.
I thought that this bag was going to be cute. In person its very cheap looking and feeling. Mine isn't even the same shape! One since is more square and the other is a different shape. I think that just shows the quality of this bag.
Overall, the value of the items in this bag came to $30.83 not including the eye cream. The only item that I really liked was the eye shadow. Maybe I am just being picky but I just expected this month to be awesome considering its the last bag of the year.
