Review: Influenster Frosty VoxBox*

Influenster Frosty VoxBox
Hi Ladies!

I was super excited when I saw that I was going to be getting another Influenster VoxBox! I think that Influenster is a really cool program and think its a great way to try out new products! For those of you unfamiliar with Influenster, it is a site that works with different brands to promote their products. As an Influenster you link up all of your social media accounts. The more active you are in social media, the better chance you have at getting chosen for Voxboxes. However, some Voxboxes can be completely random or very specific having to do with specific demographics. You also complete quizzes on different subjects to become "experts" in that area.  I recieved the Frosty VoxBox for testing and review purposes. I think that this box had a good variety of products in it from food items to beauty!

Here are the products that I recieved!

Influenster Frosty VoxBox

Red Vines Fruit Vines Bites in Strawberry
I've never heard of or had these before. I was going to wait to open them until I filled my VoxBox video but I couldn't resist! These are SO good! They remind me of the Twizzler Pull and Peels. They are similar in texture as they are soft and chewy and not hard like the original Twizzlers. They are strawberry flavored though not Cherry. I really enjoyed these even though they are packed with sugar.

Celestial Seasoning Candy Lane Green Tea Decaffeinated
I don't drink green tea often but I was interested in trying this out. Its actually pretty good! I added a little Splenda to it but the peppermint gives the tea a nice holiday inspired flavor. I would probably buy a box of this after trying it. I also got a coupon for this product in my VoxBox.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover $4.47

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover
I have never tried Rimmel makeup remover before. I'm not a big fan of liquid makeup remover in general. I prefer makeup remover wipes. I do like to use liquid makeup remover to fix winged liner. I put a little makeup remover on a slanted liner brush and clean up the wing.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner
I love Rimmel products and am very familiar with this Kohl liner. I use the Nude one everyday on my waterline. This liner is soft and glides on easily. It also has great pigmentation. I did find that it smudges and does not stay put all day long.

Eco Tools Sleek and Shine Finisher Brush $10.99

Eco Tools Sleek and Shine Finisher Brush
I own some makeup brushes by EcoTools that I like but I never knew they make hair brushes too. I prefer flat brushes over round ones in general since I am not the best at blow drying my hair. I just a flat brush to dry it then run a straightener through it after.

Here is what is said about this brush:
"The unique bristle pattern allows the synthetic boar’s hair-like bristles to penetrate down to the scalp, distributing hair’s natural moisturizers and leaving hair with a sleek, lustrous shine."--https://www.ecotools.com/hair/sleek-shine-finisher-hair-brush#reviews

"Dries 20% Faster* for Less Heat Damage
  • Ultra Comfort, Lightweight Design
  • Ideal for All Hair Types
  • Reduces Heat Damage for Healthy-Looking Hair
  • Frizz & Anti-Static Fighting Design
  • Nurtures Hair & Scalp"
I agree that this brush is light weight and  love the fact that EcoTool products are cruelty free and made from recyclable products. I don't agree that it is anti frizz and statics since I brushed my hair the other day and had immediate static. I am not used to the bristles on this brush since all of my other hair brushes have plastic bristles. I do think it is gentler on the hair and scalp but a little bit harder to get knots and tangles out.  I also think that it does help your hair dry quicker when blow drying it. Overall I am happy with this brush.
No7 Protect and Perfect Advanced Serum
Here is what is said about this product:
"No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum has been tested like no other cosmetic anti aging product in an independent 12 month trial. The findings clearly show that it has genuine, long term anti aging benefits. Contains Pro Retinol, concentrated levels of our unique antioxidant complex to protect from environmental damage and skin-firming peptide complex to boost and maintain skin's elasticity.

Created with Care. We've created this hypo-allergenic product using only ingredients we know and trust. It has been tried and tested by guests with even the most sensitive skin, so you'll know it will be good to yours. Dermatologically tested.

What Does It Do?
It glides onto the skin, immediately improving the skin's radiance. It reduces the appearance of lines and wrinkles by up to 50% in 4 weeks. It's independently proven to restore the skin's structure, repairing damage caused by sun exposure. After 6 months, the skin is shown to rebuild and overtime elasticity is improved and deep wrinkles are visibly reduced. 1 U.S. fl. oz."

I have heard of Boots and the No7 brand but have never tried any of their products. Since this is only a foil packet, I can't really do a full review on it. I can only give my first impressions. I recieved a coupon for $2.00 off but I am not in the need of any new skincare right now. The serum is lightweight and soaks up into the skin nicely. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. It doesn't have an overly strong or specific scent.

NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum $1.99
NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum
I was happy to see an NYC Expert Last Lip Color in this VoxBox. The shade Sugar Plum that we recieved is quite fitting for the holiday themed box. I really like the formula of this lipstick. It contains Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Silk. I own another shade in this line called Berry Me. Both are creamy, pigmented, and a super affordable price. Sugar Plum is a frosted plum color. I would say it is a medium pink with a hint of purple to it. I prefer matte lipsticks but this shade isn't too frosted. I was happy with how it looked once I tried it on.

McCormick Gourmet All Natural Thyme
I honestly don't use Thyme in any of my cooking so I'm not sure what to make with this. Any ideas? It is a nice size bottle and I use a lot of other McCormick spices and recipe packets.

Overall, this was a pretty decent VoxBox. Most of the items will get used in some way. Keep an eye out on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for more reviews and impressions of these products!
