Holiday Wish List

Hi Ladies!
Christmas is right around the corner and I am so excited! I have already started decorating and can't wait to watch all of the Fa La La La Lifetime movies! I love everything about the holidays including the black Friday craziness! But most of all being around all of my loved ones.

Its been so hard to see all of the new holiday makeup sets coming out and not buy them all now! Instead of buying them, I am going to share my "Holiday Wish List". Hopefully Santa can manage to scoop some of these up for me!

Too Faced Everything Nice Set $56.00 at Sephora

Too Faced - Everything Nice Set
I got Too Faced's A Few of My Favorite Things Set last year and loved it. This years set does not disappoint! The colors are different and I love that they also have little brushes! This is my top item on my wish list.

Shaping My Brows with Tryst Studio: Week 8

Hi Ladies!
Today I am going to share with you my before and after results of my brow transformation made possible by the lovely ladies at Tryst Studio. If you are new to this series, you can check out my very first post along with my follow-up posts HERE. Just to sum things up, I decided I wanted to grow out my brows and perfect their shape. For the past 8 weeks I have been growing out my brows and going to Tryst Studio in Hingham, MA where they have been tweaking the shape little by little. I have also been using Rapid Lash to help accelerate the growth.

Here are pictures of my brows 8 weeks ago before I started going to Tryst Studio:

As you can see, the shape was very dramatic and manipulated from my natural shape.

Here are my brows 8 weeks after growing them out with the help of Tryst Studio:

Overall, I am so happy with the end results! Though at times it was very hard for me not to pluck all the hairs growing in, it was well worth it in the end. I had such a great experience at Tryst Studio. Going there to get your brows done is SO DIFFERENT than going to a salon. These women are trained to create a shape that best suits your face. They don't just slab on some wax and BOOM your done. They take their time to get every hair and use special lighting for precise detail. They make you lay down first then have you sit up straight to make sure the shape looks correct after plucking, waxing etc. After getting a shape they are satisfied with, they will bring you out into the studio and show you the correct way to fill in your brows. Tryst also sells brow kits that come with all the tools you need to fill in your brows including custom brow powders.
Besides the fact that these women are experts at brow shaping, they are also very friendly and make you feel totally comfortable. A special thanks to Kelly O'Keefe (the owner of Tryst Studio) for convincing me to take the leap and to Corrie (pictured above) and Christina who both shaped my brows over the past two months.

Aside from brow shaping and waxing, Tryst Studio also offers facial services and makeup application. To check out all of there offerings click HERE .

Review: Stitch Fix-Fix#10

Hi Ladies!
Today I am going to share with you my thoughts on my 10th Fix from Stitch FixFor those of you unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, it is a personal styling subscription service. You can learn more about Stitch Fix and see my previous fixes on my Subscription Reviews page.  I have been subscribed to this service for over a year and think it is am AMAZING service! It has been such a pleasure working with my stylist Jenni and can't believe I am on my 1oth box! For this fix, I asked Jenni to send me more items to transition me into the fall and winter. I have been getting fixes every other month as I was going a little overboard with purchasing monthly. After this fix, I am going to take a break until after the holidays to save some money.

Onto the items that I recieved:
$48.00
When I first saw this shirt in the box, I knew that I loved it. Plaid screams fall and I love the coloring. It is a very light weight blouse with tab sleeves which I love and it fits perfectly! You really can't go wrong this top. Its a little bit pricey but I love it and think it is worth the price.

Memebox Special #39 Cafe Box*

HI Ladies,
Today I am here to review the Memebox Special #39 Cafe BoxFor those of you unfamiliar with Memebox, it is Korea's #1 Beauty Subscription Box. Memebox (pronounced "mi-mi box") is named after a Korean doll that is the beauty idol of many young girls in Korea. They decided to spell it Me-me to emphasize that beauty is about oneself or "me". The great thing about Memebox is that you are not forced into signing up and paying for a monthly subscription. You can get them as often or as spaced out as you want. On the Memebox site, they have all of their available boxes and upcoming boxes (and there are a TON) up for grabs! The boxes range in price from $19.00-$32.00 a box plus shipping. You can also order bundle boxes which are two boxes at a discounted price. They have sales on some of their boxes and often have discount or $ off codes.
Memebox carries 4 main types of beauty boxes: Memebox, Memebox Special Editions, Superbox and Luckybox.

Here is what is said about each:

"Memebox:
The original Memebox comes packed with 4 - 8 full-size products and deluxe samples. Boxes in each Memebox series always contain the same products, and contents vary from hair and body products, to skin-care and makeup products.

Memebox Special Edition:
Memebox special edition comes packaged with 4-8 full-size products and deluxe samples under its own theme. Memebox special edition is designed to meet various concerns, beauty trends, and also seasonal needs.

Superbox:
Superbox was inspired by our Memebox lovers, looking for full-sized products catered to specific needs. Each Superbox series comes with its own theme, designed to target particular concerns, or collaboration with our favorite brands!

Luckybox:
We created Luckybox to give everyone a different and unique box full of our favorite products for you to feel like the luckiest person in the world! Every Luckybox is unique and is filled with 4 - 8 full sized products and deluxe samples carefully curated from Korea to give you the best experience and widest exposure to a range of products!"

Lets move on to the Cafe Box:
The theme of this box is coffee or coffee shops/cafes. It has products that remind you of coffee shops which generally have different types of caffeinated drinks as well as pastries and desserts. The products contain ingredients such as milk, caffeine, and coffee.

Shaping My Brows with Tryst Studio: Week 6*

Hi Ladies!
I'm back to give you guys an update on my brow transformation with the help of Tryst Studio! To see my other three posts, you can click HEREAfter my last visit to Tryst, I was told to come back in two weeks. I was allowed to pluck stray hairs but needed to stay away from the areas that needed to grow in (the inner start of my brows, the tail of my brows, and the thickest part). I have continued to use the Rapid Lash daily.

Here are my brows after a little more than two weeks of growth:
The inner part of my brows are starting to fill in really well. The tail of my brows are growing in too. Lastly, the middle part of my right brow has grown in quickly which is good news.

This visit, I met with Corrie. She was really impressed with my will power to not pluck and the growth that has occurred since the last time that she saw my brows. She thinks that they are ALMOST there.

Here are my brows after Corrie cleaned them up:
Corrie said that my brows are REALLY close in shape now. She said that your brows are sisters not twins, so they will never be exact. I agree and think that they are pretty close. They are so much more even compared what they used to look like.

Here are my brows after I filled them in with brow powder and pomade:
My next appointment is in two weeks. I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel!

That's all for this update. Stay tuned in a couple of weeks to see how they look next!

Review: Lorac Pro 2

Hi Ladies!
Today I'm going to do a quick review of the Lorac Pro Palette 2 and show you some looks that I created with it. I got an AMAZING deal on HSN and only paid $22.00 for the palette, Behind the Scenes Primer, and full size Lorac Pro Mascara! The deal as originally $42.00 but I used a $20.00 off coupon code (for new customers) and also got free shipping!

I haven't used the mascara yet so I can't really comment on that. The primer works decent but I prefer my MAC Paint Pot in Painterly or my Urban Decay Primer Potion.
These shadows are very similar in pigmentation and texture to the original Pro Palette. They are super creamy and do have a bit of fall out in the pan because of this. The are very pigmented on the lids and blend nicely. I didn't have much of an issue with creasing but you will see a bit of it after wearing your shadows all day and night (over 10 hours).  The top shadows are all matte and the bottom shadows are all shimmer.

Here are swatches of the shadows:
Top Row L-R: Buff, Lt Brown, Cool Gray, Nectar, Plum, Navy, Charcoal, and Black

Bottom Row L-R: Snow, Beige, Rose, Mocha, Chrome, Silver, Jade, and Cocoa

Brow: Buff
Crease: Lt. Brown
Lid: Beige and Chrome
Inner Corners: Snow
Outer V: Navy
Lower Lashline: Navy

Brow: Buff
Crease: Nectar
Lid: Beige and Rose
Inner Corners: Snow
Outer V: Mocha
Lower Lashline: Mocha

Brow: Buff
Transition: Lt Brown
Crease: Mocha
Lid: Rose
Outer V: Cocoa
Lower Lashline: Mocha and Cocoa

Brow: Buff
Crease: Cool Gray
Lid: Chrome and Beige
Inner Corners: Snow
Outer V: Plum
Lower Lashline: Plum

Overall, I am so pleased with my purchase. This is a great palette and I actually prefer these colors over the original palette. If you are a new to HSN I highly suggest checking out their offers because they frequently have special deals for new and existing customers. It is currently sold out on HSN but it is available at Ulta. Also, follow Nouveau Cheap as she posts about these types of offers all the time.

Thanks so much to El (of The Beauty Isle) for giving me a heads up about this deal!

Do you have either Pro Palettes? What are your thoughts on them? Post your comments below!
